Being a solo artist can be exhausting without a team behind you. You have got to be a creative, musician, record label, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, marketer and everything in between. Being a part time music producer means I don’t have a lot of time to spare in between my day job, being a father and everything else.
One thing I can tell you for sure is that I am not a film or video producer, but in my day job I work in information technology. I got curious about whether there were generative AI tools available that might assist in at least providing something visually pleasing to look at while my song played.
I searched for something that might run locally and whilst I found plenty that could do the job (more articles to follow on this later), all of them still required significant time for me to use and put together.
This is when I stumbled on Neural Frames. This tool guides you through the entire process. And if you let it, it will even give you some creative direction. All in all I am happy with the result. Check out the video below and let me know your thoughts. I’ll also include a link to Neural Frames. The pricing is fairly steep and there isn’t a lot of room for errors, I probably will not use it again personally and will continue to pursue other options that are more cost effective or that I can run locally.
